The chorus really enjoyed singing with the Wellington Male Voice choir, Cadenza (from Kapiti) and the Kapiti College Boys Barbershop chorus. Had a great afternoon singing in the QMC hall, even though the weather was a bit rough.
Old St Pauls Lunchtime Performance

The chorus guys had really been looking forward to this performance. We'd practiced 8 songs to share, and had a chapter quartet lined up to perform as well. We entertained a surprisingly large audience at Old St Pauls. Ex-members galore in the audience!

We had a great time on our concert at St Andrews on the Terrace. We'd learned a lot of new music for a show mid-year, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, couldn't put it on when we wanted to, so we saved up all the music and had a Christmas concert instead.
Christmas Carols at the Carillon

Is was a rainy afternoon, but the chorus still performed our selection of Christmas music to the small enthusiastic audience that came out to the Carillon. The space is fun to sing in, making us sound bigger than we were. It was also great to see one of our members who had been on leave for a while back on deck for this performance.
We're looking forward to performing there again, with an approach made to see if we can do a performance there outside of the Christmas season.

Christmas Cracker

A great time was had by both Harbour Capital and Capital Harmony choruses as we performed and hosted other acts for a few CHristmas (and non-Christmas) numbers at Cashmere School hall. All the seats were sold, with a lively audience attending in spite of some not so nice weather arriving just as the show was about to begin.

We had a great time performing 2 shows with the fantastic ladies ot 10dd (https://www.facebook.com/10DDclan/) and TinyKwyre from Palmerston North. With a variety of music from across the world, we sang to a couple of very enthusiastic audiences.
We debuted 2 new songs, both by John Denver - Country Roads and Annie's Song. During the intermission after our first set of songs, a lady came up to us who who actually knew John Denver and his wife Annie (they were best friends at school). She said it was great to be taken back to her memories with that song. What a coincidence! .
